  • Must be a current Werner Enterprises driver or owner operator who is running for Werner Enterprises.

Please answer the following questions in your video submission
  • What is your name and truck number?
  • How long have you been driving for/with Werner Enterprises?
  • What got you into truck driving?
  • What do you like about the transportation industry?
  • How long have you had your truck?
    • Feel free to share other information as well!

How to participate:

  • Shoot a video, answering the above questions about yourself and show off your truck. Give a video tour of your ride!
    • Show us the ins and outs of your tractor and trailer.
    • Tell us about the make/model and the engine.
    • Share any other cool features about your truck.
  • Maximum time limit of five minutes.
  • Submit the video showcasing your truck and personality:
    1. Log onto: http://www.youtube.com
    2. Looking at the top right corner, choose “Sign In” or “Create Account”
    3. On the top of the YouTube page, select “Upload”
    4. Click on the “Select files from your computer” button.
    5. Browse for your video and select it. Video will begin to upload.
    6. While it is uploading, enter “Basic Information”
      1. Include “Werner Enterprises’ Show Us Your Ride” in the title
      2. Include “Werner Enterprises’ Show Us Your Ride” in the tags
  • If you would like to, post a link to your video on the Werner Enterprises Facebook Page. Page.

Prizes

  • The public will decide the top 10 trucks through YouTube.
    • YouTube has a like/dislike system. To vote, a registered user must log in and click the “thumbs up” link.
    • YouTube only allows a user the ability to vote for a video once.
    • Werner will not be taking dislikes or “thumbs down” into account.
    • YouTube will keep track of the votes and the top ten videos (which must be in cooperation with the rules and regulations) will be narrowed down.
  • A Werner Enterprises pre-selected executive group will choose first, second and third place.
    • Third Place will receive a $250 Visa gift card and a Werner gift bag.
    • Second Place will receive a $500 Visa gift card and a Werner gift bag.
    • First Place will receive a trip to the Great American Truck Show in Dallas where they will represent Werner Enterprises August 23-25, 2012 (includes three night hotel stay, routing to Dallas with paid time off), a $1,000 Visa gift card for food and truck upkeep (wash, vacuum, polish, etc.), and a Werner gift bag.

Rules and Regulations

  1. Contest Begins June 18th, 2012 and ends at 11:59 p.m. CST on July 31st, 2012.
  2. You must be a current Werner Enterprises professional driver/owner operator to enter and win.
  3. The video must be your own original creation. Please do not use copyrighted music, video or images in your video. All entries must comply with YouTube’s Terms of Service.
  4. Werner Enterprises will disqualify any entries it deems to contain offensive or unsafe footage such as stopping on the side of the road or while driving. Disciplinary action will be taken against contestants submitting video with any of the above-mentioned material.
  5. Personal information collected from video submitters to the Werner Enterprises “Show Us Your Ride” video contest will never be sold, used or distributed for any other purpose, other than to contact contestants in direct relation to the contest.
  6. Werner Enterprises is not responsible for entries that are lost, late, misdirected, incorrect, or incompletely received for any reason.
  7. The prizes set forth by Werner Enterprises are final and binding and cannot be challenged or appealed. No substitution or compensation will be given for any portion of the prize that is not used.
  8. The Werner Enterprises name and all associated logos (collectively, the “Werner Marks”) are registered trademarks of Werner Management, Inc. Entrants in this contest who comply with all contest rules and requirements are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use and depict the Werner Marks in their video entries. Such license may be revoked by Werner at any time, at Werner’s sole discretion and without notice to entrant. In no event shall any such license extend beyond the duration of this contest without the express written consent of Werner.
  9. By entering this contest and uploading your submission, you irrevocably grant to Werner Enterprises, Inc. and its agents the unconditional and perpetual right to post, display, publish, use, adapt, edit and/or modify such submission in any way, in any and all media, for any purpose, without limitation, and without consideration to you. Entrants agree to irrevocably assign and transfer to Werner any and all rights, title and interest in the submission, including, without limitation, all copyrights and waive all moral rights in submission.
  10. If you are selected as the winner, you will be required to obtain a release provided by Werner signed by each identifiable person appearing in your submission granting Werner permission to use his or her image/likeness.
